Staying healthy is very important for us to maintain on a regular basis. In today’s world, our life-styles have changed so much that it is becoming really tough to remain fit and healthy. There are so many factors, which have been affecting our life-styles, such as cut-throat competition, job-related stress, skipping food, not maintaining a proper diet, lack of physical exercises due to limited time in our hands, lack of social activities, eating junk foods and etc. Out of these several factors, the prime factor should be “not maintaining a proper diet”. In other words, it is important to pick the right kind of healthy foods for eating purpose. There are several healthy foods available in the market; however, one should know which one of these different healthy foods would be most suitable for them to have on a regular basis, in order to stay healthy. Such healthy foods are often considered to be like that of medicine.

Nowadays, organic foods are considered best for our health, because they are natural, without the use of artificial ingredients while producing them. These health foods groups would include i) Cereals and pulses, for examples- rice; wheat; corn; soya beans; gram; ii) green leafy vegetables will generally include spinach; squash; cauliflower; broccoli; carrot; beans; tomatoes; beet; lettuce; and etc.; iii) fruits can be of juicy as well as dry ones, the juicy fruits include red and green apple, orange, kiwi, pineapple, water-melons, strawberry, gooseberry, plum, red grape, pomegranate, etc.); dry fruits include nuts, avocado, raisin, etc., iv) Dairy products - milk and various milk products such as cheese, yoghurt or pro-biotic curd, butter, etc.; v) Poultry and sea-food generally includes chicken, lamb chops, beef (lean), fish and vi) Others include different protein based foods such as whey, barley, lentil, porridge, various plant extracts or herbs and etc.
Therefore, the above-mentioned foods are generally considered to be healthy foods, since these kinds of foods are packed with nutrients and highly recommendable to have in order to get the health-wise benefits for a longer period of time.
